What Is Included in the Personal Plan?

Unlimited Pages and Content

No limit on the number of pages, blog posts, or gallery images. Build as large a site as you need without worrying about content caps. This is the same unlimited content allowance as every other Squarespace plan.

Unlimited Bandwidth and Storage

No traffic limits and no storage caps. Whether your site gets 100 or 100,000 visitors per month, performance is not throttled. Upload as many images, videos, and files as you need.

Free Custom Domain (First Year)

Annual plans include a free domain registration for the first year. After the first year, the domain renews at the standard rate ($20-70/year depending on TLD). This domain is fully yours - you can transfer it to another registrar at any time.

SSL Security

Free SSL certificate on every site. HTTPS is enabled automatically. No setup needed, no extra cost. This satisfies Google's HTTPS preference and displays the padlock icon in browsers.

Responsive Mobile Design

All templates are responsive - your site adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens automatically. You do not need to build a separate mobile version.

Full Blogging Features

What Is NOT Included in the Personal Plan?

Custom CSS and JavaScript: No access to Custom CSS editor or Code Injection. You cannot add custom styling beyond Site Styles or embed tracking scripts. This is the most common reason to upgrade to Business.

E-commerce: No product pages, no checkout, no payment processing. You cannot sell anything on the Personal plan.

Promotional pop-ups and banners: No email capture pop-ups or announcement banners. Available on Business and above.

Advanced analytics: The Personal plan shows basic traffic data. Detailed breakdowns (traffic sources, search keywords, device types, geographic data) require the Business plan.

Google Workspace integration: Not available on Personal. You can still use Google Workspace separately - you just cannot set it up through the Squarespace dashboard.
