Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 August 2026

These terms cover your use of What Square.space, the Squarespace template detector and blog operated by OK Digital Ltd. Using the site means you accept them. If there is something here you do not agree with, the fair response is to stop using the site.

What the site does

What Square.space checks whether a website is built on Squarespace and, when it is, reports the template and version it appears to use. Alongside the tool we publish guides, comparisons and reviews about building on Squarespace. Everything is free to use and no account is required.

Detection results carry no guarantee

The detector reads the public source code of the page you ask about and matches the patterns it recognises. Sites that hide their markup, sit behind a firewall or proxy, use heavy caching, or run a customised build can return an incomplete or simply wrong answer. Treat a result as a strong hint rather than proof, and confirm it yourself before making a decision that costs money, such as buying a template.

Fair use of the tool

The detector is built for people checking one site at a time. While using it, please do not:

  • Run scripts, bots or bulk queries against it, or automate it in any other way.
  • Resell, republish or repackage our results or articles as your own product or dataset.
  • Probe, overload, disrupt or work around any part of the site or its security.
  • Use the site for anything illegal, or to help anyone else do so.

We can block access to anyone doing these things, and we do not have to give notice first.

Affiliate links and prices

Some links here lead to Squarespace and other services, and many of them are affiliate links that earn us a commission when someone signs up. The commission never changes what you pay. Plans, trials, prices and features on those services are set by the services themselves and can change at any time, so always check the current terms on their site. Our disclaimer sets this out in full.

Squarespace and other trademarks

Squarespace is a trademark of Squarespace, Inc. What Square.space is an independent tool: we are not Squarespace, we are not endorsed by or affiliated with them, and template names belong to their respective owners. We use those names only to describe what the detector found.

Our content

The text, images and detection data published here belong to OK Digital Ltd. You are welcome to quote a short passage as long as you link back to the page you took it from. Copying whole articles, or scraping the site to build a rival database, is not allowed.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that everything on it is accurate and current. We may change, pause or retire any part of it, including the detector, at any time.

Limits on liability

So far as the law allows, OK Digital Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, from a detection result being wrong, or from anything you buy from a third party after following a link from here. Whatever you sign up for elsewhere is a matter between you and that service.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute that arises out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Israel. The courts of Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

Privacy

What we collect and how we handle it is set out separately in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We revise this page when the site or the law behind it changes. The date at the top shows the last revision, and carrying on with the site after a change means you accept the current version.
